One box instead of many

How you save with Shippyar

Shopping at five US stores normally means five shipping bills. We receive all of it, put it in one box, and you pay one carrier once. That single change is where most of the money is.

Combine three orders, pay one shipping bill

Three packages from three stores, going to Dubai. Same items, same weight — the only difference is how many boxes leave the United States.

Why a half-empty box costs so much

Carriers charge for whichever is greater: the real weight or the size of the box. Size is turned into kilograms with a simple formula — length × width × height in centimetres, divided by 5000. A big box full of air is billed as if it were heavy, which is why retailer packaging is where your money quietly goes.

Unless you ask us to keep the stores' boxes, we open every package, remove the air, and pack your items in the smallest box that still protects them.

The formula carriers use

L × W × H (cm) ÷ 5000 = billed kg

A 60 × 60 × 15 cm retailer box is billed as 10.8 kg even if the thing inside weighs 1.2 kg.

One item, two boxes, two very different prices

A pair of headphones arrives from the store in an oversized carton. We repack it. Nothing about the item changes — only the air around it.

Repacking a single package costs $5; when we combine several packages it's part of consolidation. Fragile packaging, with extra bubble wrap and fragile stickers, costs $5–$15.

Three more ways the bill stays down

30 days of free storage

Buy this week, buy again next week, and ship everything together. Nothing is charged while your packages wait.

The carrier's rate, with no markup

We pass the shipping price through exactly as we get it, and you choose between Best Value and Fastest yourself.

Duties paid before it flies

Import duties and taxes are calculated and paid with your shipping wherever the route allows it, so the courier asks you for nothing at the door.

One thing we will not claim: tax-free shopping. We buy in California and pay the US sales tax the store charges, and you see it as its own line on your quote.
