Prohibited & Restricted Items
Some things we cannot buy or ship at all. Others we can, once we have checked the rules for your destination. Read this before you order, and ask us if your item is not on the list.
Never shipped
We will not buy or ship these, to any destination. If one of them turns up in an order, we cancel that item and refund it.

- Alcohol
- Tobacco, cigarettes and vaping products

- Perishable food and anything needing refrigeration
- Human or animal remains

What happens if your item needs a check
You will see this on your order: “This item needs a compliance check before we can purchase it. We'll update you within 1 business day.” It is a routine check, not an accusation — most flagged items turn out to be perfectly shippable.
If a problem is found after we bought it
It happens rarely, and there are only two cases. Both are written into our Terms.
Our review missed it
If the product page showed the problem clearly and we bought it anyway, that is our mistake. You get a full refund, including the convenience fee.
It wasn't visible, or was described differently
If nothing on the page revealed it — a battery hidden inside, for example — we try to return the item to the store and refund whatever the store refunds. You can also have it sent to a US address at your own cost.
Countries we can't ship to
Because of US sanctions and export rules, we don't ship to these places, and they don't appear in our country lists. We also don't forward orders to them through another country.
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Russia
- Belarus
- Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
This list follows US government rules and can change. If a carrier can't deliver somewhere else, you'll see it before you pay for shipping.
